My Journey in UX Design

I am Heesun Lim, a UX designer from South Korea passionate about solving challenges by creating user-centered solutions.

My story begins in a kindergarten classroom, where I worked as a teacher for two years. Working with children from diverse linguistic abilities, I utilized various tech devices and edtech digital products to provide personalized learning experiences. Witnessing their remarkable growth inspired me to explore educational technology as a means to reach and support more children in their learning journey.

This perspective led me to pursue educational product development, where I joined a product management bootcamp hosted by Seoul Business Agency. I led several team projects with companies like Ringle and Socar, earning recognition for my innovative planning solutions from my bootcamp cohort and mentors.

At Software Factory, an edtech startup, I designed an educational game teaching basic coding concepts to teenagers with limited digital device experience. This role deepened my understanding of the crucial relationship between user perspectives and design's role in creating seamless interactions, leading me to explore Human-Computer Interaction further.

As I continue my journey, my ultimate goal is to develop edtech products for children facing educational barriers, contributing to a more inclusive and accessible learning environment for all.
